Being an independent, real shop rather than an online warehouse, we get to choose what we stock. And we only stock the things that we truly believe in, that we would be happy to ride and use ourselves. If we don’t like something, then we won’t just not sell it to you, we won’t even have it in the shop.
This means you can shop from a range of well considered bikes, clothing and accessories, with the reassurance that our six committed members of staff would recommend each and every one to you.
We like to get to know our customers, and like you to get to know us. This means that we’re all personally accountable for the advice we give, and the things we sell. No one works to commission, and we never hard sell.
We respect the position of trust we’re in, so if you ask for our advice on what bike to buy, we won’t try to sell you the most expensive one, or the one that we’ve accidentally overstocked on, it’ll be one criteria only that we use – the one that’s best for you.
Honest advice isn’t much use though if it’s not any good. Thankfully, we’re all passionate about bikes; riding them, selling them, and fixing them. We take product knowledge very seriously, and invest a lot of time learning about our bikes, and trying them ourselves (our favourite part of the job!), so we can give you the best advice possible.
Just as importantly though, we know when we don’t know. So if you ask us something we can’t answer, we won’t make something up, we’ll tell you we don’t know, and then we’ll take the time to do some research and find out for you.
And it doesn’t stop when your card goes through the machine; we pride ourselves in our after-sales service. We have a fully functioning bike service and repair workshop to keep your bike running smoothly, and most importantly we’re always on hand to help with follow up advice and support.
