Firstly, thank you very much for buying your new bike from us. We know there are lots of shops and lots of bikes to choose from, so we really do appreciate you choosing us. To help you get the most from your new bike, we’re here for you with back up, support and advice whenever you need us – just drop us an email, give us a call, or call by the shop and we’re at your service.
To keep your bike running as good as new, we also provide a great complimentary workshop package with your new bike – a free six-week tune-up and annual safety check, priority workshop booking, and a courtesy bike service. All the details on this are below, as well as the warranty information for your new bike, and a Getting Started section if you’re new to cycling.
Your new bike has been built and checked for you by our mechanics, and is ready to ride. As the new parts bed in though, we provide a free six-week tune-up, so we can make final adjustments and ensure everything is working perfectly. We also offer a free annual safety check for our bikes, where we can check over your bike for you, and recommend any servicing required to keep it running smoothly.
Our workshop is also here to help with any servicing and repairs you need throughout the year, but we can get busy at certain times of the year, so please book in advance. For emergency repairs though we do offer priority booking for bikes bought from us, so when you book please mention it is one of our bikes and we’ll do our best to fit you in.
Again for bikes bought from us, if it is an emergency and we can’t get you up and running straight away (e.g. if a part has to be ordered, or sent away for repair), then if you’re going to miss an important ride, we’ll provide a courtesy bike for you to ride in the meantime if we can.
We’ll send an email reminder for both your six-week tune-up and annual safety check, but feel free to contact us and book it in.
Hopefully your bike will give you trouble-free riding for a long time to come, but if something does go wrong, all our bikes come with a warranty from the manufacturer. The frame and forks (except suspension forks) are covered by the bike manufacturer, and the other parts of the bike by the individual manufacturers. Warranty periods are typically 1-2 years on parts and range from two years to lifetime on the frame, depending on the brand and model. Please contact us if you would like further details of the warranty on your bike.
Should you need to make a warranty claim, this is done through us, which we’ll make sure happens as quickly and smoothly as possible, and as with our servicing if you need to we’ll provide a courtesy bike to keep you riding in the meantime if we can.
