Bike and Workshop Availability Update

It seems like a lifetime ago when we posted at the beginning of the lockdown to say that as a bike shop we had been allowed to stay open, for which we were very grateful. Since then, we have seen an unprecedented demand for bikes, for which we are obviously also very grateful, but unfortunately this has left us and Trek very low on stock, with some models temporarily sold out.

We’ve listed the bikes that are currently in the shop, available from Trek within 2-3 days, or arriving with us in the next couple of months. There are also images and links for the bikes, but please ignore the due dates in the links, the dates in our list are more accurate.

So if you’re thinking of buying a bike this summer, apologies we may not be able to get you the one you want immediately. As demand is likely to continue to exceed supply we can take pre-orders for the bikes that are arriving soon, so please send us an email or give us a call on 01306 885007 if you would like to talk through the bikes some more and reserve one, and hopefully we can get you pedalling soon.

As with bikes, we have also seen a big demand for our workshop time, and at the moment we are typically booked out a few weeks in advance. Please send us an email or give us a call on 01306 885007 to check current availability, and we’ll get you booked in as soon as we can.

As always, if it’s a bike bought from us in need of urgent repair we’ll prioritise that, and we are also currently prioritising key workers, so please mention that when contacting us to book.

Apologies for what was obviously an unforeseeable situation, as now more than ever people look to stay healthy and sane by riding bikes. If you’re looking to get a new bike soon, we’ll hopefully get you pedalling later this summer, and if you need your bike fixing, we’ll get it done as soon as we can.

We are very aware and somewhat uncomfortable with how fortunate we are to have stayed busy through this challenging time for everyone, and can only thank all our customers, new and old, for your support. We never take it for granted, but especially not at the moment, and we look forward to seeing you again in whatever our new normality will be. In the meantime, keep safe, keep sane and keep pedalling.
