If you enjoy your mountain bike DVDs, but fancy a change from watching kids jumping off scary things, then watch a bunch of hippies from California riding around instead.

This is a documentary of the birth of mountain biking, tracing its 1970s California roots. It's a mix of interviews with the guys that started it (that are now all middle-aged, but being from California still say 'awesome' and 'dude' a lot - you've been warned!) with their famous Klunker bikes, and lots of photo and video footage from the time.

It's a really enjoyable watch, and makes you feel very pampered with all the suspension, disc brakes and lightweight kit we ride around on today!
