27/8/09: Commencal 2010 UK Launch

Commencal recently brought their new 2010 range to the UK for it's first showing, so we went along to Milton Keynes, the headquarters of Madison, the UK importer, to have a look.

Commencal are still a relative newcomer to the UK bike scene, but have already built themselves a big reputation, by year on year creating confidence-inspiring bikes that are fun to ride and look great. And it looks like they've done it again, with some new models and new colours...

This is a new bike that we're really looking forward to trying out, the Ramones. A long travel hardtail, with 'thow-it-about' geometry, should be perfect for local Surrey Hills riding.
The Super 4 was a new model last year, and for it's second year it gets tweaked with the front travel increasing from 100mm to 120mm. Rear stays at 100mm, so should remain a very snappy full-sus, but with with more trail friendly geometry.
Always the most popular Commencal for us, the versatile Meta 5.2, or Meta 5 Team as it's now known. The 3 bike range (Pro and Ltd being the other two) share the same colour scheme as the Super 4s shown above, and a carbon version is now also available.
And finally, if you fancy something to take down the jump park, then just choose your colour...

The new bikes are due September, and as usual we'll have test bikes ready to go as soon as they're here of the Ramones, Super 4 and Meta 5. If you'd like us to let you know when they're here then give us a call or drop us an email, or keep an eye on the website..
