25/1/11: South Down and Dirty Charity Ride

 

If you fancy setting yourself a challenge for this summer, then riding the South Downs Way is a classic long distance test. And to get you motivated, there's a charity ride being organised locally to raise money for Holmbury St Mary Church roof and Friends Of The Hurtwood.

Taking place on Easter Sunday (24th April), you can take on the whole 100 mile route from Winchester to Eastbourne (okay, 98 miles if you're being picky), or a half distance 54 mile section.
