Head For The Hills Demo Day 2012

After a few years’ break since our last demo event, we’re very excited to announce we’re heading back to Holmbury Hill in March, for our biggest and best Demo Day so far! On Sunday March 4th, we’ll be occupying the Holmbury St Mary WI hall, at the base of Holmbury Hill, with a fleet of bikes from all of our bike suppliers. Brands and bikes confirmed so far are... Trek
- Fuel EX, Remedy, Slash, Superfly, Rumblefish & women-specific Lush Staff and mechanics from the shop and the bike brands will be on hand to give you the techy low-down on the bikes and set up suspension and fit for each rider, so all you’ll need to do is go out and have fun. A short (approx 30 minute) road and mtb loop around the lanes and trails of Holmbury Hill will be waymarked, to give you an idea of how each bike rides over a consistent range of terrain. Bikes will be available on the day on a first-come-first-served basis, but they’ll be plenty of opportunity to test all the bikes you’re interested in - as well as maybe a few that you haven’t thought of trying before. We’ll keep you fuelled with tea, coffee, sandwiches and cakes for the day’s action, or for something a little more substantial, Holmbury St Mary has a couple of pubs that will be happy to provide. As the event is being held on Holmbury Hill, in recognition of what a great job the Hurtwood Trust do in looking after the area we all enjoy riding in, we’re asking for a voluntary £5 donation to Friends of Hurtwood to attend the day - for more information on Hurtwood Control and how to get involved with trail maintenance or simply make a donation, see here. It promises to be a great day of riding and socialising, but there are a limited numbers of places, so if you fancy joining us, you’ll need to reserve your place in advance. Give us a call or drop us an email with your details if you'd like to register - we hope to see you there. If
