Colnago
In 1951 Ernesto Colnago broke his leg in a racing accident. Forced to
rest from his job as a welding assistant for a Milan-based bicycle
manufacturer, he starts to build his own wheels. He decides he wants to
start up on his own, opens his own workshop a year later, and the rest, as
they say, is history.
