Single-trails are surely some of the very best mountain biking terrain there is. The narrow paths carving through the hillsides, rocky ridges with sheer drops left and right and wild river canyons take a lot of beating. To get every ounce out of single-trails, you need a bike which is agile, light and responsive, but at the same time has ample travel with plenty in reserves for the jumps and edges. Tied into this, the bike must have the wherewithal of downhill geometry.
